This photography expedition takes place in Ladakh, India, known as “the land of great passes” and also called Little Tibet due to its geographical conformation and strong Buddhist cultural influence.
The unique feature of this trip is our two main photographic targets: the Himalayan bear and Pallas’s cat, two rare and fascinating creatures that inhabit these highlands, which is why this experience is also linked to conservation projects, especially for the former.
It will be a special expedition, off the beaten track, during which we will be surrounded by incredible Himalayan landscapes with rivers, beautiful lakes, and peaks reaching up to 7,000 meters in altitude.
Our search will not be easy, but it will be facilitated by the help of experienced naturalists and trackers who know these places very well. In fact, their help will be crucial in photographing these animal species, which are so rare and precious to the ecosystem we are going to explore.
In addition to our two objectives, we may encounter other species along the way, such as the Tibetan fox, Tibetan gazelles, eagle owls, Tibetan wolves, pikas, and Himalayan marmots.
This is an opportunity not to be missed for lovers of these extreme and unique territories to explore
This photography tour is designed primarily for nature photographers, both amateur and professional, but is also suitable for nature enthusiasts.
